Nifty hair trick!

I came across this nifty hair trick online and gave it a try, and I loved it. So I'm sharing. (:

These are the things you need:
  • 2 rubberbands
  • 2 bobby pins
  • A pair of old, clean socks

Step 1: Cut the bottom of your socks so that both ends are open. Like so,

Step 2: Start rolling one end of your sock, tugging it to tighten occasionally.

Keep rolling until you get the ring shape below:

Step 3: Insert the ring into the other pair of sock and start rolling it together to make the ring thicker. Remember to tug the sock occasionally so that it's tight.

This is what you should end up with:

A donut shaped scrungie, it should be snug and tight.

Next, pull your hair into a ponytail, and adjust the ponytail to the height you desire. Use the first rubberband to keep that in place.

Thereafter, pull your hair through the donut you just made, and let the donut sit on your head.

Look down, and let your ponytail fall, and make sure that your hair covers the donut entirely.

Keeping your hair as is, take the 2nd rubberband and secure your hair around the donut. Like so,

Finally, use the bobby pins to secure the rest of your ponytail. Use your remaining hair to hide the rubberband.

And TA-DAH! This bun is tight and secure, it can last the whole day without retying over and over again! :D

Kthxbye.
