Like a red flag to a bull.

A common misconception about cattle (particularly bulls) is that they are enraged by the color red. This is incorrect, as cattle are red-green color-blind. It is not the color of the cape that angers the bull, but rather the movement of the fabric that irritates the bull and incites it to charge.
See, the same can be said to human behavior. Most of the time when we see someone being mad at us, the first thing that flashes across our mind are the instances that might have triggered their anger. While females seem to be better at knowing what we've done, males are like the laymen who believes that bulls are enraged by the color red.

In my experiences, instances like these happen all the time, and it happens everywhere. The husband, the boyfriend, the guy friend and the annoying male acquaintance. Since they have no clue about what they have done to anger us, they often jump to conclusions, like how people have always believed that it is the red fabric that enrages the bull. But really, it was something else, something less superficial, like the movement of the annoying fabric. I'm not saying that females don't make the same mistakes, we do, but not as often as the blokes.

What do you think?
